Magnetized Metal Detector
The Nikka Densok NT Series is a new type of metal detector that adopts a completely different detection principle from conventional systems. This technology enables the detection of minute contaminants such as stainless steel wires, cutting debris, burrs, and galled particles—items that have traditionally been difficult to detect using conventional metal detectors or X-ray inspection systems—even at sizes smaller than standard test pieces.
High Sensitivity
NT is capable of detecting extremely fine stainless steel Φ 0.2 × 2mm wires. This is one of our unique and superior capabilities that cannot be achieved by other manufacturers. In addition, the machine offers the significant advantage of being capable of inspecting products equipped with aluminum caps.
Detection Principle
Magnetic metals mixed in are magnetized by the magnet gate on the inlet side, and the magnetic field emitted metals magnetized by the special magnetic sensor is detected. Although stainless steel is a non-magnetic material, it is magnetized when cutting, bending, or other forces are applied when it is machined or missing, and it becomes magnetized when passing through the magnet gate. On the other hand, since aluminum is not magnetized, even if aluminum is used for packaging, it is possible to detect only magnetic metals that are mixed without any effect.
